Red dots on my baby's belly!!!!

 I don't know what exactlly this is, and I was hoping one of you could tell me......each of my boys had it and it went away, but I really never knew what it was and no one could really tell me either. Hopefully there is someone out there who got a straight answer and can help me understand what this is....I've included some pics......I hope you can see the dots.

I don't think my camera did a good job capturing them but I noticed that if you tip your screen up you can see them better!

All of my children got this rash it is either heat rash or milk rash. Neither of which is a problem.

May. 13, 2007 at 8:31 PM It looks to me like it could be heat rash. I would give her a baking soda bath in luke warm water. Then put loose fitting clothes on her so she' s comfortable. You could also put some aveno baby powder on the rash.

Hi momof4...

It's hard to discuss a rash without knowing if there are any other symptoms. Rashes that are just under clothing may be heat rashes, but they could also be a "contact" rash from laundry soaps. Is the baby fussy? or just red. Does she have a runny nose also, any sneezing, how long has it been around?

These answers help to zoom in on the problem. And that's a problem-is it a problem for you or for her? Children get lots of things that come and go and probably will never be identified.
