Very nice Mother's Day

I just wanted to say Happy Mother's Day to everyone out there. I had a wonderful day w/ my family. It was also my husbands birthday, so we had a duel party. We had a nice relaxing bbq and we all just hung out and enjoyed each other's company. My kids made me wonderful pottery gifts and my sister and I actually got each other the exact same card for each other! How's that for sisterly love! My mom and mother-in-law came and helped me w/ my house and the party. I love my family and am so lucky to have them here to help me out.

As of Wed. I probably won't be feeling so well, I start chemo and not quite sure what to expect. They say I will be sick to my stomach, but hopefully that is all. My Lupus is just too out of control and the chemotherapy is supposed to completely shut down my immune system for 1 year after the infusions. The other meds I am on don't seem  to be getting me into remission, so this is the final drug to try. I hope it works....I guess we will see soon. Wish me luck!
