Aww, Mother's Day... A day to make special for the ones that carry a being inside their womb for ten months (some shorter, but for the most part), pushed their big heads out of a tiny whole, and still manage to love and cherish them every day of there life.  Oh, and also busting their a**es to take care of these rugrats!  I love Mother's Day.  It feels so great to be able to hear someone say to me, "happy mother's day".  And to ME!

If you look on the t.v all they talk about is gifts, gifts, and more gifts.  When really Mother's Day isnt all about that.  It has so much more meaning than that.  Its about taking the time out to appreciate the mommies in your life.  We work so hard to make everyone happy, that I feel like once a year, we can be appreciated for what we do.  Some people may disagree, but being a mommy is a 24/7 job, mentally, physically, and emotionally.  It takes a toll on your body, wears at your emotions, and drains your nerves....

This Mother's Day, I had the most wonderful day!!!  I woke up to my beautiful babies and made a phone call to joyce to make sure we could come over.  I wanted to go over there and have lunch with her.  I also was hoping for two brothers, and a sister to be over there, so we could have time together.  But mainly I wanted Joyce to not have to fix anything, but be treated.  So, we all got ready and headed down to Liberty.  Got there, and Jon was there, along with Andy, and Shannon (and baby).  I was so eccastatic (sp?)!!!  Toby and Andy tagged team and cooked us lunch while the ladies and jon chit chatted, chased shaquan around, and watch t.v.

The whole time, I was so happy for us to be together.  This was what Mother's Day is all about.  Bonding, bonding with the ones that mean so much to you.  Appreciating one another, and learning about our daily lives.  It was so wonderful to be able to sit down and talk to everyone.  I am so blessed to have a great family!  Even tho a few of them were missing!!

We all sat at the table together, except shaquan, who was bumming stuff off of everyone's plates.  And just chatted away, ate the delicious food, and grew as a family.  Food was wonderful, and even got a call from Tommy, and we passed the phone around so we could wish him a happy birthday.

Some of us headed in the back room to play, others went running around outside and the rest, went back to lay around in the living room.

My cherilyn popped up not to long after that!  i was super happy.  and i know she was too, cuz she hasn't seen some of them in a while. So we all got to fellowhip together...

Eventually we all decided that we needed to go our separate ways.  shaquan was staying with joyce for the night, and i was riding out with cherilyn to my mom's grave.  We gave hugs and said our goodbyes for like 20 minutes, and eventually headed out.

I got to go to my mother's grave that afternoon, and i felt a little relieved.  Its been a while since I was out there.  There weren't any flowers out there, so we went to pick some up.  We even looked for our friend Katie's grave, but could never seem to find it.

So, Mother's Day was wonderful!!!  Cuz its not about the nice gifts you get, its about family bonding, and growing together.  I love every single one that I seen, with all my heart!  My family is the greatest group of people to be around.  And I am glad that we got to be together.

And I also got to bond with the honey while the little one was away!!
