Well, where do I begin? I am a mother of one beautiful little girl. I have my days where I just cry cause I dont feel like Im doing enough for her. One moment I wish I had another child, so she can play and have fun. On the other hand, I am very happy with one child. I just feel that she isnt getting enough time with other children. Shes not in childcare. I work days and nights and my husband works the Midnight shift. So we are lucky not to have to shell out all that money and teach our daughter ourselves. But sometimes I feel like I am depriving her the experience. Im constantly asking myself, can I do better with her, what am i doing wrong or is it just me? Shes so smart, friendly, and energetic. Sometimes there just isnt enough time in the day to really do the things I want to do with her. If only life wasnt so hectic and would slow down. Just for a day. If anyone has any advice, please let me know!
Maybe you could find a play group. I loved having my daughter in daycare, I work full time and I think my daycare tought my daughter a lot, I always had her in "in home" daycares, maybe you could set up a daycare for 2 days a week so she can play, and you can have time to get some work done, or even just rest, 8 hours a week or something. If not daycare maybe another parent who doesn't have their child(ren) in daycare either. You are probably doing all you can for your daughter, but I am a firm believer in time a part, just like a job, you get to leave every day/night, and have a break, when you go back you are ready to work again. Good luck
