The year was 1986. I bought a '79 Honda Accord. Silver. Hatchback. Stick shift. Maroon interior. I LOVED it! I think I paid $2500 for it. I was a junior in high school and saved my money for half of it and took out a loan at the local bank for the balance. It was a good lesson in bill paying. I drove it for a few years before I upgraded to an '83 Honda Accord.
