Memorial Day, sharing a cake for the day

A couple of years ago I made this cake for a cake show. I wanted to show my support for those who had lost a loved one in the military. I hope that many people who had seen my cake not only seen the art of the decoration but the thought and feelings that went into making this cake. ( Everything on this cake besides the board, and paper with the song Taps is edible.)
