Pooping in the bath

Okay my son is 9months old and last night for the first time he pooped in the bath.  Now the very next night he does it again.  Does he like how it feels, why is he doing this.  I am being so serious, CAN SOMEONE GIVE ADVISE on how to get him not to do this again.  I really don't think this just happened two nights in a row, i think that he liked it and i am afraid he is going to continue to do this.  Please help me it is so gross, i know I change his diapers every day, i ask day care what his poop looks like, for some reason with your own children you just want to know everything about there poop, but not cleaning it out of the bath tub.  It makes me gag like I am going to throw up.  Please if you have advise give it.  Thanks

May. 28, 2007 at 8:42 PM I remember my little ones doing that every once in awhile- you could try to make sure he uses the toilet/or in his diaper right before tubtime- i think the wam water relaxes them sometimes and so they have accidents... use a throw away cup to scoop it up and dump into toilet...hope this helps!

May. 28, 2007 at 8:46 PM  YEP..       ESPECIALLY WHEN SICK..     THREW OUT A MANY BATH WATER,   MAKE SURE HE HAS BM BEFORE BATHS.    MAYBE HE WONT HAVE ONE  ...

May. 28, 2007 at 8:54 PM My son is 9 months old too and started doing this.  He has had 3 BM's in the bath and yeah, I was totally disgusted.  I don't think he continues to do it because he likes it, I think the warm bath just relaxes him to where he can go a lot easier.  My son has at least 4 poopies day so he does go quite a bit.   I don't know how to keep him from doing it but just thought you might like to know you aren't alone on this one.
