Well, Over all potty training Raphael is going ok. I've been using the potty chart on childavenue.com, which has been great because it's a train and Raphael loves trains. When he finishes the chart he get's a prize. My Mother picked up a bunch of the cars from the Disney Movie Cars, which he loves, and he get's one of those.

He'll Pee in the potty no problem and can mostly make it through the day without peeing in his underwear. We only put a pullup on his when or if we go out or when he goes to his Playgroup on Tuesday and Thursday (I forgot today because of the long weekend) and we put a nighttime pull up on his at night. The yesterday morning his pullup was dry and he went to the potty as soon as he woke up. This morning not so lucky, but he still went to the potty when he woke up also.

The problem we're having, however, is that he wont poop in the toilet. He refuses to sit down on the toilet too. Whenever I try, he throws a fit and screams bloody murder. We printed out two potty charts, one for when he pee's in the potty and the other for when he poops in the potty, but his chart for going poop in the potty is blank whereas he's on his second chart for pee since we started using two charts instead of one.

I've had people say that it'll come and not to force him to sit on the potty. My Husband says "That's why you train a boy to sit first and later he learns to stand by watching daddy." Yet the daycares teach the boys to stand right off and I've taught Raphael to Stand right off. So, was that wrong?

On another note, it seems that Leigh Ann might be interested in trying to go on the Toilet, though I'm not sure. When I take her to change her diaper, she always trys to go into the bathroom. Course, that could just be because that's where the bathtub is and she loves to take a bath. In the past, whenever she's had the chance, the bathroom has always been the first place she'll head.

In any case, hope everyone has a nice day and had a great Memorial Day weekend.

Safe Journeys,
