hello everyone...1st time posting...so hello everyone..I am actually writing for advice...my 10 month old DD has her first cold..She started yesterday and peaked a fever of 102.6 at 8pm last night .I gave her motrin and I was able to get her fever down to 100.  She doesn't relly want to drink much..but she is drinking a little.  She is exhausted and she has a harsh cough , seems like she has a sore throat, shes just miserable.  The doctor said to wait until tommorrow and keep checking her temp, if it reaches 104, to bring her to the ER.  Does this sound right or should I bring her in sooner...I am a new mom and not dealing with this very well :(  Any help would be appreciated.

Do you have a vaporizer?  If you don't want to mess with changing the water and cleaning one, get the one that looks like a plug in.  It'll clear up everyone in the house.  lol  It'll make the both of you sleep better.

As for the drinking part, just continue to coax her.  She'll be fine, promise.  I'm dealing with HIVES.  His eyes look like he's been boxing.  lol  Good luck!

I would not wait till 104. That is seisure temp. Go with your instincts. Are you using tylonal and motrin? Rotating it? Motrin seems to be bring it down some. If motrin and tylonal stop working then I would take her. But you knowyour baby and if you think she needs to go, I would take her.
