OMG!!! It is RAINING @ my house!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I live in North Georgia & it has not rained in over three weeks!  I am so excited as I sit and listen to the rain drops hitting the window & the Thunder off in the distance!  I know it's sounds stupid to post about rain but my friends all know we've been praying for it night & day for months!  I can almost hear my flowers & bulbs sighing with relief, the grass is so actually happy you can hear the "gulping" noise, LOL!!  Oh crud... I just realized the grass might actually grown now... I'm gonna have to mow it!  Just kidding, I'd mow the grass every day for a decent tropical depression!

We've received 30 minutes worth of decent hard rain so far & more thunder in the distance, keep praying for more, we need this to roll south to the GA/FL line!!  We're so deep in a rain deficit in the south though so I doubt this will help much, but every little drop counts!

Oh, and BTW, to those who know me &  or have been with me for my "Roadside Finds" in May... YES, I DID go out and dance a little jig in the rain while it was pouring down and the quote I used on my May 16th pic for ClubMom is absolutely true!   "Anyone who says sunshine brings happiness has never danced in the rain".

I am off to dance in the puddles now, hope ya'll have a wonderful weekend!!

WHAT U GOT RAIN!!! NO FAIR!!! I LIVE LESS THAN AN HOUR AWAY AND STILL DRY HERE!!!! MY POOR GRASS!!!!! LOL......

Jun. 4, 2007 at 10:36 PM Hooray for your rain!  We have finally gotten some here in VA too!  It is so bad that some of our farmers aren't sure how they are going to make it this year with their hay fields not growing and their crops all drying up!!  I'm so glad that you finally got some rain!  Love the mental picture of you doing a jig by the way!! LOL!!!

Jun. 7, 2007 at 4:04 PM We were happy to see rain here in Norht Florida too!! Wow the kids just loved it and my new sod was so happy too!!! Hopefully it helped the fires in GA/FL too!  We had some pretty bad weather with lightning and hard rain the other day and lost power for about 3 hours...well they say more rain this weekend...Yeah!!! You gave such a beautiful discription of the rain...Well also wanted to say I just love your roadside finds so much and enjoy all the adventures!  I take my camera in the car now just because of you because you never know what you'll find...Have a great day!
