Woohoo! Ducks WIN the Stanley Cup!!

OMG!! The Ducks just won the Stanley Cup!

I've been a fan since the team made it's NHL debut in 1993. Well before that actually. I've been a fan ever since the movies. Yes, I'm talking about Disney's Mighty Ducks.

Who would have thought that a team originally named after a Disney movie would win the first-ever West Coast, first-ever California Stanley Cup!?

I did!!

Ever since those movies came out hockey has dominated my life. It inspired my little brother to start playing hockey at the age of six. I spent at least 2 days a week in a hockey rink for most of my childhood. And I love it!!

I'm so excited for my Ducks!! Selanne deserved to win this and so did everyone else. GM Brian Burke said his number 8 will be retired when he decides to retire. Awesome! Jiggy finally got his cup! After all the stress he's had this year with his son's health, I can't even imagine what he's feeling right now...
