Things May Be Turning Around

Hubby got his cast off on Tuesday & Friday he followed up on a job lead. He got a job at a restaurant as a pasta cook making more than he did at his last cook's job. He didn't even fill out the application. He was hired during the interview! 
That same day he went and applied with FEMA for help with our roof that was damaged during the May storm that caused the flooding in town. I expected them to be out this coming week for the inspection & instead they came late that afternoon. 
So it looks like things may be finally turning around for us. I hope so.
