Working Teen

I am so proud of my daughter. She is 15 years old and I got her a job at Alexis camp. She is a junior camp counselo. She had to work all week so this is her first week of working and I have to say she has been very responsible with setting her alarm and getting right up and taking her shower, packing her lunch. She does say she may not want to do this the whole summer, but I have to give her credit for trying and working at her age. She will receive her first check tomorrow on Friday for one day and training. She can start to buy herself some clothes for school or just things that she wants that I couldnt get for her. I think she said she wants to get her nails done. So I'm proud of her. This is the beginning of a great summer. I love my daughter.

Jun. 28, 2007 at 3:18 PM Once she recieves her first check...she wont want to stop...LOL!! Having the freedom to buy what you want and not ask your parents for money is awesome. It makes you feel proud. Good luck to her :)
