Wednesday night I drove my mom to the ER because she was complaining of high blood pressure, dizziness, seeing spots, a pressure behind her left eye, and being just down right tired. After an hour or so in the ER she started having a chest pain that she describes as someone stabbing her in the middle of her chest then slicing to the left all the way around to the middle of her back. Well after a total of 4 hours in the ER they decided to admit her to the ICU. She was in that ICU until late friday night when she was transfered to a hospital in Kansas City. As of yet the doctors still can't figure out what's wrong with her. All blood tests, MIR's, C/T scans, stress test, EKG's...everything comes back normal. I would love nothing more than to be by her side through all of this but unfortunately it doesn't look like that's going to happen. I was there with her until she was transfered and went up to KC for a bit yesterday but as of today I'm homebound :(. Since I have no vehicle of my own right now due to money issues, I drove my moms car when taking her to the ER, today my dad came and got her car so that he could go be with her because his old farm truck wont make that 2 hour drive. So I'm stuck at home worrying and wishing I could be there. I'm not upset that dad took her car...I told him yesterday that he could come get it. I'm just depressed because I have no other way to get up there and see her. I'm beginning to wish that I had just stayed with her instead of comming home to be with my husband. Bah, enough about me....my mom is the one who needs the support/prayers/thoughts etc. So in closing, I ask that those of you who read this light a candle, pray or whatever it is you do personally and send healing energies to my mom. Thank you for taking the time to read this.
