New addition to the family

It's a Boy!!!!

Justice Logan finally arrived on 6/28.  After a long day of hard and exhausting contractions, we finally met face to face.  He is 6 pounds and 7 ounces and 18 1/2 inches.  He's even smaller than my first son, but he was also a week early. 

We thought we were going to be induced again with this one because he wasn't showing any signs of being ready to come see us, but my water broke on the 28th.  Unfortunately, my body didn't want to dilate, so it was still a long process (13 hours).  I went au naturale because epidurals don't work for me since I have had 2 back surgeries...so needless to say, it was painful!  The upside is that I only had to push for 7 minutes once I was fully dilated...

Anyway, he's here and he's healthy, so that's all that matters.  I was able to come home on the 30th, so I didn't have to spend my birthday in the hospital.

What a great Birthday gift!!! Arn't little boys wonderful, have fun kissing those precious little fingers and toes... Oh and babies smell so good! I can't wait till my sister has her little boy in Oct.
