Lost so young and beautiful

My husband's little sister and my sister in law (she was 12) was killed at 12:30 this morning by a drunk driver.  She was bringing her horse in and a man going 90 miles per hour plowed into her and the pony.  The man then saw fit to get out of his car, leave it running and leave on foot.  They live in the Frankenmuth?Birch run area.  There is nothing but country so I don't know where he was running.  He has not been found yet.  They determined from the car that he was drunk...they just don't know how drunk.  And from the amount of blood they found in the car they believe that he is injured...again, not sure how bad.  The police have not found him yet.  All I know is that if he's not laying in a field dead he will be if my brother in law finds him first.

Krystle was a beautiful girl and was growing to be an amazing young woman.  She was an accomplished equestrian and loved to sing and dance and just be a girl.  She was the perfect combination of tom boy and girly-girl.  She was sassy and spunky and stubborn to a fault.  She was a joy to know and I am honored to have called her my sister.

She will be missed.  The grief process is so hard.  Everyone deals so differently.  It leaves wounds so raw when you have to bury a child.  I don't know how this fmaily will overcome and heal.  I don't know if they can.

She will never be forgotten.  She lives on in the fond memories we have of this sensational little beauty who was so gentle to animals and a spitfire to reckon with.

We love you little angel.  This will not be in vain.  There was a purpose and it will be fulfilled.

My heart just broke when I read this! I hope they've been able to find the man who did this to your SIL! I ready your testimony in Bible Babes also and I just want you to know I think you're an amazing woman!!
