My son is about to be born any day!
I'm scared and excited!
How does one be a good mother? Not forget about their baby?
I'm a very forget person. I can't even remember to take my medicine when I'm really sick, let alone remember everything for a baby. Not to mention I'm a very heavy sleeper. I've slept through hurrincanes, shuttle take-offs, and trains passing not even a mile away.

Jul. 11, 2007 at 3:56 AM It's amazing how having a baby will change you.  I was a heavy sleeper before my first child but not after I had her.  Somehow, having a baby changes your priories and you will make the necessary changes in your life according to what is important to you.  You will be able to remember when you last fed and changed your baby and when you need to next.  You will sleep lighter because you do love that little one and want to be there for them when they cry.  You will be a great mom.  Just relax and enjoy the little moments.  Good luck!
