i agree with above suggestions. my little gal loves her baby dolls and stroller and things that go with it. little people by fisher price are also a great idea. one year olds tend to like weird things too, like i got lilly a toothbrush, she loves itLOL~so just think outside the box! how bout cups? and shoes!! every little girl likes shoes! good luck!

I think all of the ideas above are great. I would like to throw out there the idea of little learning toys. Like i saw this comercial for a fisherprice toy that blows balls out the top and the can put them back in and it was pretty cool. i saw it at the walmart and it was a pretty good price too, i think it was between 20 and 30 dollars. not bad. all else fails just look at the age limit on the toys in the store. you wont have no problems, you know her, she will love anything you get her. plus she will probably be more interested in the box or bag anyway. lol.

Hmmmmmmmm...you know what would be good.  One of those snap button zip dolls. you cant be too young for those but in my opinion she is at a good age.  Or even a plastic tea cup set!

Kelia...

Get one of those little play recorder with microphone attached. Just throw a tape in and keep letting her re use it she wil love the sound of her own voice to listen to and then one time you will start hearing little words and you can save the good tapes for her when she is older then just buy new tapes. I always loved this microphone toy. Plus it can take a beating!! lol.

Good luck.
