I need to know the title of this book!! Please help!

So, Katie came home from school last week asking me to be her "Lovearoo".  Ummm...what?  She read a book at school about an animal, I can't remember what kind ( I think a Kangaroo....) where the little animal was asking "Will you be my Lovearoo?".  I don't know the title of the book!  And she asked for it, and I want to get it for her.

 please help!!

I tried a few different googles, but nothing came up and it doesn't sound familiar.  Sorry....
