So You Think You Can Dance~~Brenda...this ones for you!!

This show has been SO good this season!  Every night there are at least four really great dances.  It's hard to pick faves! 

Anyway...here is my #1 favorite dance of the night. This is Pasha and Sara.  They were choreographed by Benji Schwimmer, the winner of last seasons SYTYCD (he's also Lacey's brother).  If you watched last season, then you know that this dance is sooooo Benji :o)

Jul. 14, 2007 at 10:45 AM Oh my goodness -- YOU ROCK!!  I love you, darling!!   You are the YouTube Queen, I swear!!  That first dance was absolutely wonderful!!  I liked all 3 of them though.  I agree with GripofGrace, we all knew Cedric would be going home.  I was saddened by it though.  However, I was a bit ticked that they chose not to go solely by the solos.  Now, IMO, they can't stand by the "fight for your life" saying they use.  Because the dancers know that isn't true.  If a dancer can't figure out how to get 30 good seconds worth of dancing (ballroom dancer or not) by now, then they deserve to go home.  Schonna's (sp?) solo was by far the best there.  I understand with the guys -- all 3 had awesome solos.  IMO they were equal.  So then, yeah, you have to go by past experience.  But they admitted that the ballroom dancer (can't remember her name) had 2 past solos that stunk (I think they said "lacked" - I think they stunk LOL).  sorry for hijacking your journal, Destiny!!  (Feel free to delete!)  Thank you again for posting these dances!!  I realllllly appreciate it!!

Jul. 14, 2007 at 10:54 AM I would never delete!!  I actually agree with you...I do think it should have been Anya also....if for no other reason then her awful costumes...LOL :o)  But the other girl HAS been in the bottom three every week.  How much longer can they keep her safe??  I knew it would be one of those two leaving.  It was definetly Cedricks time to go.

LOL  I know, but it would have been okay if you had. ;-)  But remember -- Shauna wasn't in the bottom 3 last week.  And it seemed like they'd been blaming the reason she was in the bottom 3 on her partner.  Carson said (and I don't know if this is true or not?) that Shauna and Anya (sp?) had been in the bottom the same amount of times.  It was very ironic that the one time Mary said she wanted to keep Cedric in, he goes.  I just really liked him.  But I tend to side with the underdogs.  LOL  BTW... I was looking at videos and I really liked this dance too:

What did you think about that one?  After watching it, I was kind of surprised that they were in the bottom 3.

We really like that dance also...I was gonna put it as my #4 favorite dance, but I could only find videos that were almost eight minutes long.  I'm glad that you found a cropped one...I'll post it.  I thought they did really good on that dance.  Of course, it wasn't as good as Lacey/Kamerons contemporary...but still a strong one.  My husband loved the song.  The guy (I can't remember his name right now) is very arrogant.  I was surprised to hear that one judge actually tell him that he was arrogant (even if he retracted it the next day).   He does have an air of arrogance about him.  Chris and I were saying though...how can they not be arrogant?  They are terrific dancers, hot, probably have women and men fawning all over them.  I'm sure it goes to their head. 

I forgot that Cedric and Shauna weren't in the bottom three last week.  I think the only reason why is because Cedric was so humble when he was getting judged.  My hubby really liked Cedric also.  He thinks the way he dances is very cool...and original.
