Okay - 10 weird, different or interesting facts about me

1. I could not drive a car until I was 30 yrs old and pg with my second child

2. My boyfriend(at that time) introduced me to my now husband

3. I am afraid of cats

4. I love to sing, I could sing morning, noon, and night.  Good thing too, because my younger daughter seems to understand music much better than spoken language more often than not

5. I have never flown in an airplane

6. I am the youngest of 7 children (I was not lonely growing up, lol)

7. I danced for 10 years, from age 4 to 14 when my mother would not allow me to continue.  I performed in "The Nutcracker" with the Pittsburgh Ballet 2 years in a row

 8. I have never seen the movie "Rainman"

9. I have not voluntarily gone to the doctor's (except during my pregnancies) my entire adult life

10. I like vanilla ice cream the best.  My husband thinks that is very odd

I don't like chocolate ice-cream or cake, growing up i didn't like any thing chocolate! That changed when I got my red headed cousin...I love ballet, I love to dance although i took several years i was never much good, except I was in a belly dance troop for a while. that was fun but not real passion.I am impressed that you danced. I would love to take my kids to the theatre but no way would they cooperate.

I love to fly I couldn't learn to drive soon enough(15.5)I had my licence.

Your not missing much on the rain-man front.

Jul. 14, 2007 at 9:35 PM Wow, Laurie, there is a lot of interesting stuff there! Why did you wait to learn to drive a car? Did you live in a city with great public transit? Why do you avoid doctors? Are you afraid they are going to mis-dx you and cut off a leg that is perfectly usable? (That happened in my town). And do my photos of baby kitties give you the heebie-jeebies?

ROFL!!  Autumn, you crack me up!!

I was absolutly phobic about driving...I was terrified!!  Yes, I live in a city, public transportation is good,but not being able to drive caused some MAJOR stress and inconvience for all of us!!  Now that I drive, I cannot believe I waited so long...life is much easier now!!

I HATE doctors (except you Karen).  I cannot even explain why, I just get such anxiety when I think of going.  I guess I don't like to be poked and proded, LOL

And NO, your kitty pix are not giving me nightmares....in person I may opt to stay on the other side of the house tho!!

Mar. 4, 2008 at 3:39 PM i don't like things that are bumpy  i love to play with tape at work  and i am afraid of sharks or anything in a body of water that comes near me!!!  i hate people who have bad manners or hygeine .  feel safe at hospitals and home hate to change my ways . and sometimes i love to just sit and just do nothing ,not that it last very long !!! lol hey this was fun
