A woman giving birth to a child has pain because her time has come; but when her baby is born she forgets the anguish because of her joy that a child is born into the world" (John 16:22)

Every woman knows the pain you go through while having a child.....it is a long hard labor (why do you think they call it"labor") Sometimes our lives relate alot to having a baby and I'm about to explain. We ask for things to happen, we want certain things to happen in our lives, and we just sometimes give up because its so hard. Can you imagine the babies that wouldn't be born if every woman gave up because it is too hard? We need to concentrate on the end result and not what we have to go through to get there. It takes 9 long months for a wonderful, beautiful baby to be born.....think how wonderful such a thing is. Sometimes when we ask God for things in our lives it might not happen right then and there...it might take weeks, months, or even years. It took 6 years for me to find my perfect match for a husband. During all those 6 years i went through so many heartaches and failures mainly one because I wasn't living fully for God, but I stilled prayed, I prayed for that perfect guy, that perfect family and it took me giving up everything and giving it to God. The day I did that every prayer was answered every hope, dream was revealed. On the other side of the spectrum.....Krist (who is my husband) prayed for 6 years for me to find salavation again and for me to find my way back to him. He never gave up....he kept on praying even through everything I went through everything he heard....the drugs, alcohol, parties, one night stands....everything. Krist NEVER gave up on me and never gave up on God....do you think it was easy for him to hear everything I was doing and seemly getting farther and farther away from God? He never gave up and in the end a birth of a wonderful woman (that would be me) and a wonderful relationship came about. If you really want something to come to pass in your life or someone else's just keep praying and never give up. "Ask and you will receive" (john 16:24) I listened to a speaker and she spoke about the above and this verse as well and one thing I will always remember is "you will receive" not might not never but WILL. It might take months or years but you will get it.
