You know those moments in your childs life you wich you could just bottle up and save for a day when you feel like you are not the greatest parent and then just open them u and smile. Well we got one of those moments last week. we watched Finding Nemo on the Saturday night Disney movie on CBS and after it was over there was a 9 minute clip of Ratatouille playing. My twins instantly fell in love with the movien and insisted that we go buy the movie. (well 2y/o don;t really understand its not out on video yet) but I decided that we should try to take them to a movie. Well we made the plans for that Tuesday and the kids were so excited. I'm sure they had no idea what i was talking about, but they knew what they were going to do. They walked around for the next 3 days saying "go see Rat-tooey, on tuesday, eat popcorn..."

Well Tuesay was finally here and they were pumped, and so was I I couldn't wait to see what they thought. So we got our tickets and our popcorn and went to find a place to sit. My son was a little freaked out at first, because he doesn't like big rooms with lots of people, so I picked him up and he was clutching my neck. I looked at him and I said its ok and I turned him around (previews were already playing) and I kid you not his face became the picture of AWWW he was in total amazement. I picked him up and moved him to his seat and his eyes were glued to that screen for the entire movie, he laughed and had a smile from ear to ear the entire time. My daughter was the same way she was lauhging and slapping her knees and eating popcorn. It was a great moment. I love living those firsts with them.

Aug. 21, 2007 at 1:27 AM I am glad they had a great time at the movies. I normally bring popcorn or Capri drinks to the movies instead of buying at the concession. save money 4 two
