Since the dreaded flu season has started, between the kids and I we are always sick. Granted I have never had the flu shot, but I also have never had the flu, neither of my kids also have never had the flu.
Now my ear hurts, my throat hurts, my head hurts and I am also dizzy. My son says he is the same way. I just don't understand how we are always getting sick now. I mean all the other flu seasons come and go and we never get sick, maybe the occasional cough. But we have not gotten the flu. Now though, we get fevers that we can't get to go away with the usual fever reducing medicines. I can't stand it anymore! I can't remember the last time I had a fever until now, I mean maybe as a child but nothing like now. I am so tired of this. My poor son has been sleeping all day. He never takes naps, he is usually go go go, now he is again sleeping! My daughter has not gotten whatever we have, which I am hoping she stays that way.
It has been a hard few months with all the sickness we keep passing around. Hopefully we will start feeling better and that we will be back and going by tomorrow. Oh I hope so since he has school tomorrow.

Hang in there!
Doesn't necessarily have to be the flu - could just be your standard cold going around and around. Doesn't make it any easier to deal with though.
BTW - my DD DOES get the flu mist but guess what - has had a nasty cold for the past week and has shared it with me. So even THAT doesn't always help!
