Well, this is my first Journal entry so I hope its worth it... Maybe I will gain more friends this way, right now I only have 3 on here and one sent this to me! So 10 weird/unusual facts...
1. After 15 years of a bad marraige, I got divorced and married my high school sweet-heart. It was pretty much a fairytale thing. There were a mere 7 days between the finalization of my divorce and my wedding. (my DH was NOT the reason for the divorce!)
2. I love theater and had to start a small community theater in my new home town because there wasn't one. I like directing children's shows.
3. I have to stop and think about how many cats are in my house at any given time. I am a breeder and the number changes frequently! There are at this exact moment 18, but I also have 2 at the vet, 1 away getting bred, 1 that isn't mine here, 2 kittens here that will be going home soon, and 4 one week old kittens, and a queen due tomorrow!
4. I decorate Ukrainian psanky eggs. I also make cool black & white drawings. When I get a chance I sell these at art & craft fairs. But I don't get much of a chance anymore so I'm thinking of creating a website for them.
5. My husband is one of 14 kids in his family, most of whom are adopted. When we have family gatherings its a vary colorful affair! The family includes Caucasians, African Americans, American Indians, and one with some Asian heritage! Its a calidiscope!
6. My best friend is a guy who is 17 years younger than me.
7. I am NOT a good housekeeper and I DON'T like yard work!
8. I love the ocean. I particularly like the Crysatl Coast of NC. Especially Beaufort, which I found by accident. I love going to Shackleford Banks where there is nice calm water, lots of cool shells and no people or bathrooms!
9. I have had the wonderful opportunity to swim with dolphins. I have done this on two trips neither of which I had to pay for (Woo Hoo!) On the first trip I swam with dolphins at 3 different locations. On the second trip I swam at 2 differnet locations (but same as the first trip.) I also got to swim with a sea lion both times and manta rays the first time.They were very cool experiences!
10. I love Jesus! I really do!
