Are the 'Mommy Wars' real or media fabrication?

I don't know about the media part, but some mothers are SOOOOOO competitive. It's as though the way that THEY do things is the ONLY way and is the "right" way. Some do not like to be challenged to explain their viewpoints and see this as a personal attack on themselves.
We all parent differently. There is no "right" or "wrong" way. Everybody's way is just different, that's all. We all may have different opinions and views on things, and that is okay- we ARE all adults here and should be able to respect that not everyone feels the way that we do.
