Trust me when I say this.....God helps those who help themselves.
I say this from experience. Until your son hits rock bottom there will be nothing you can do. Years ago I was a cocaine addict. It wasn't until I hit rock bottom and my brother punched me in the face and tied me down to my bed, did it really sink in. Don't worry , my brother was a registered nurse. That's how I went through rehab.
But unless your son is willing to face the fact that he has a problem and it is hurting everyone around him, nothing will change him. I know that sounds terrible and harsh but it is the reality of drugs.
I will definitely join you in prayer for your son. I will pray that God will send someone across his path and that he will respond to. I pray that God almighty will draw Matt close to him and Matt would become passionate follower of Christ instead of the lifestyle that he is in now. Nothing is impossible with the Lord we serve.
