- so we left off that the church was paying for my hotel.that lasted 3 weeks of pure hell . 6 kids in 2 hotel rooms . the hotel staff stole our things from the laundry room and rummaged our hotel room . some people have no class ... we cleaned out our house that was built in 1840 the only things we own now are the crucifixes that hung on our walls and my kids rosary beads we lost complete rooms and every thing in them down to wall slats but for some reason the crucifixes stayed intact as well as my grammes chair and some dishes packed away that belonged to my aunt . this is all we owned we had a 7 bedroom with pantry two living-rooms and a 17 by 17 foot kitchen all of it went up in flames we lost everything , but some angels worked overtime saving all of us that nights anyway i found a rental and took my trust fund payed 1000 dollars to repair the apartment and spent 3 straight days and nights painting repairing and building the apartment . this place was a wreck we started painting while the previous family was moving out that was pure craziness!!!!!! we get in not a piece of furniture to move in just our clothing on our backs the first night in our new place me being a ditsy left a bag with my pocketboOK in the car my car was broken into and 2000.00 stolen and all my gift cards about 2500.00 to the grocery store and wal-mart so no money no furniture and no refrigerate to boot. my house by this point had been looked at by state and local fire Marshall's as well as catching fire 3 times . the state fire Marshall had the gall to try to say my 16 year old pregnant daughter set the house on fire because she didn't want to be a mom .mind you that daughter jumped flames that burned her lower back to escape our third floor as all the teens had slept up their.we are now in financial despair the insurance company wont settle and the house will go into foreclosure tomorrow as it cost 424,000.00 we have asked for yet 1 more extension on the loan payment .our roof is wide open and the rain is poring in to the house as we speak all the Victorian wood work is roughened and more damage is being done as the house is molding over as we speak the insurance will cancel on the house on the 28th of this month and we cant find anyone to insure the house our homeowners policy would have paid for a trailer for us to stay in but the town wont allow it so now i pay 1800.00 month rent on top of our 3000.00 mortgage . we went from homelessness to buying a home to homelessness due to fire to a rental ... my teen daughter gave birth and moved out she went behind my back and asked the court to place her in foster care so she didn't have to bring her child home she refuses to come home now that we have a house because she lives with the baby's dad and his gramma mind you the state says its ok for a 19 year old boy to reside in the same room as my daughter 16 years old in April we don't see her or the baby at all now ....we went from the American dream with a beautiful home to rags as we have nothing new only donations . now the red cross has asked our tenants to pay the money given to us back that just seems wrong...... we lost our home due to a electrical fire the out side of the house faired well the inside is a total loss the blown in insulation kept the fire inside the house in some ways this is a blessing . now the town wants 4000.00 just for us to rip out the horse hair plaster so we can stop the mold from spreading and we cant get any help no emergency moneys or anything to save our home from further damage so we are at the Mercie of a major lender and insurance company all my kids want is to go home thy didn't see the house fully on fire so that helped limit the trauma of this whole nightmare i wish someone would pinch me so i could wake up
