I just got home from a few minutes ago. I took the lecture final exam. I am done with school!! WHOOOHOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! We got our lab exam results too. I got a 96 overall. I made a 100 on the static cardiac, 98 trauma assessment, and a 90 on my oral station. I can find out this evening how I did on my lecture exam. I feel good overall about it though. We have our exit interviews on Monday. I have to get ready to take the National Registry exams.
This has been a very long, hard year. I am so glad to have made it through. I am slowly but surely completing my goals. I will be working on my next goal now. Flight Paramedic. It will take me 3 years to even become eligible to apply. I am happy at the moment. My hubby is taking me out Friday night for a steak dinner to celebrate. lol. I picked up an extra shift for Friday. I get off at 4pm. This will work out well.
School for the kids will be starting soon. Yipee!!!! They are not as excited about it as I am. lololol. I finished school in time to work extra shifts to buy school clothes and supplies. My son has already bought a few school clothes with his paychecks from work. This is a tremendous help to us. He will have to drop down to part time once school starts. Working this summer has really changed him. He's become more mature and responsible. His boss is already dreading his leaving to go to school. He out works some of the older, regular guys. lolol. He's 14 soon to be 15. I am really proud of him.
Well, time to eat some lunch and chill for a little while.
