I'm soooo mad right now! (little league coaches!)

Right now I am so tempted to go to the local police department and file charges on my daughters little league softball coach! First of all the season is over. When the season started back at the end of April we were in a major rainy season...so most of the practices got rained out...so when the season finally got started and they started to play games we were so excited...but she had one of htese coaches who is all business...he wanted the girls to do better than anyone or they "weren't worthy" of being on his team....it was a little harsh but she was learning so much and her game was vastly improving.  Well he wanted to start entering the girls into local tournaments outside of our little league b/c he felt he had such a talented team this season. The catch was that the parents were going to have to fork out almost 100 bucks to buy special equipment just for the tourneys...then we each had to pitch in more $$ for the entry into each tourney. So I asked him if we got a sponsor to donate some $$ could we use that instead of asking the parents...b/c most of the parents in our area are very low income. So he said sure...so first thing in the morning I went to my boss who is the owner of the largest employer in the area...and without a problem he forked over a hefty check to me for this...he saw it as a tax write off and he loves my kids so he was mre than willing...he has also donated in the past money to some of hteir events.  I take the check to our coach (This is was still early in the ball season) and he was supposed ot order the equipment and he even got sizes for all the girls on the team...well every game the parents would ask abotu the equipment and ask about when the 1st tourney was and every time he had an excuse for both...he said that the tourney he was goign to take them to had been canceleed...well that was every week he said this!  Then he said that the store had the equipment on backorder...we went round and round with this man till the season ended...and they had not played in one tourney nor had they received their equipment...then to top it all off my husband and I called the coach at home every single night for over a month trying to find out about where the $$ had gone since my boss had asked me baout it. I never could get anyone to answer their phone and they never returned the over a dozen messages we left at their house.  I have tried with no luck to contact the head of the little league...but he has been out of town since ball season ended.  They were supposed to have an end of hte season party and all of them were announced in the local paper...well I saw one for my sons Tball swim party but never saw one for my daughter...this is where they are supposed to pick up their trophies and their team pics (which were also paid for) but after watching the paper for weeks now I have not seen an announcement for her party...then a few moments ago I recieved a call fro ma friend of mine who's daughter is also on her team...she tells me that the swim party is almost over (it was tonight) and wanted to know why we weren't htere! I was livid! I told her I never saw the announcement and she tells me that they called her and told her about it b/c they didn't get it to the paper in time! So my kids and I were eating dinner nad hte party was almost over I didn't have time ot make it there to confront them FINALLY! So I asked her what they had told the parents about the money and she said all they would say is that the store had messed up and they had JUST received the stuff...but no mention of handing it out ot the girls in which it was ordered for! So my friend is picking up my daughters trophy and pics for me and again I missed my chance ot confront him! I am so angry and I feel like not only was my boss cheated out of the money he donated (they didn't even get him an appreciation plaque like they always do that cost no more than 10 bucks) but the girls were cheated out of a promised oppurtunity...how do we even know that he spent it on equipment...maybe he has a new flat screen TV in his house or something! LOL....Ughhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Jul. 24, 2007 at 8:41 PM GO to the police!!!!!  And get a lawyer!!!!  Make that SOB show receipts for everything.  This pisses me off and I don't even know you.  But when somebody takes advantage of people it just well pisses me off.  So yes go to the police, hell I'd even have it put in the paper and I'd bring it up with the softball commissioner.  Going public would embarrass him, maybe even ruin him but hey he shouldn't of messed with children!!!!!

You cannot let this guy get away with this!!! It ruins the chances of any legitimate team donation for kids in the future. I know it is alot of pressure on you, but since you went out on a limb you have the right to turn up the heat!! Scum like that just shouldn't be allowed to profit from the hard work of others... especially children! Oh.. I am sooo mad right now!! How dare your kids not get invited to the party!!!!! AARRRRGGHHHHHH
