ANY ONE KNOW OF A GOOD PUBLIC SCHOOL FOR AUTISMINtx?

Jul. 27, 2007 at 10:07 AM my sons elementary school is awsome b ut sadly i had heard some horrible things another mom went thru in the same district with a different school but she also wouldnt stand up and make the school take action. i also like in ks so i doubt thats what you wanted. i know the school psychologist for my sons school is awsome and the district has a room set aside for autistic children who need a more restrictive environment then regular classes or special ed.

Jul. 27, 2007 at 12:08 PM We live in the Houston area.  We go to Clear Creek School district.  It is one of the best districts in the area.  I have been very pleased with them and their programs.  I agree that not all schools in a school district are the same but I am impressed with my school.  Oh course we have only done the preschool program so who knows what else we will encounter.  I really think you get what you put into it.  I was the room mom for 2 years and I bugged the school like crazy.  Good luck!

Jul. 27, 2007 at 2:49 PM If you don't want to homeschool Crosby Schools are good. I have had 2 kids with OT and speech therapy,as well as a neice with Pdd. Our kids have all done well there.
