ok so i went to the doctor for the first  time here today and theyre not the dummies the clinic in TX is they failed to tell me like 4-5 mnths ago that i lost the twins but i got pregnant immedietly after with 1 baby its a girl and she is fine but they failed to tell me this mom wants to sue and i aint stoppin her NO this isnt a scam i swear im just soooooooooooo mmad !!!!

Aug. 2, 2007 at 10:13 AM OMG!!! So this whole time you have been led to believe that you are having twin boys and it's actually one baby girl?! How on earth could they have not notice that there was only 1 heartbeat!! How far along are you now? Are the new doc gonna get you an ultrasound soon? How is the bleeding? I know we don't really know each other but I will be thinkng of you. I know you must be disappointed (thinking you were having 2) but (and this will probably sound like a fairly weak reason) little girls are great fun.....we thought we were having a boy first and then found out we were having a girl....she will be 7 in October...time goes by too quickly.....try to enjoy everything as much as you can :) email me if you need anything....

My friend was told she was probably gonna have a girl they couldn't tell for sure because the legs were crossed and so she was buying all girl stuff to find out she was gonna have a boy. I hope all is well with your Baby and keep us updated.

I dont know that you can sue. Were they doing sonograms all along? They should have seen one heartbeat but I know of people who were told that they were having one baby and had two (my youngests birth mom went through that) but she wasnt able to sue them. If you conceived so soon after a miscarriage I dont know how the doctors could have known and if you werent aware that you miscarried then you werent able to alert them to a problem.

Aug. 3, 2007 at 2:33 PM I wouldn't sue them. Its not like they did it on purpose. I mean I could understand if they were doing it maliciously. But obviously they didn't mean to 'lead you on'. I agree with RosePetal. Its not like you gave them any indication. I would think if you were far enough along for them to 'see' the babies then you should have had SOME sort of idea that you lost them right? Just my thoughts at least. I personally don't think this is a money making situation. I would just be happy to have a healthy baby.
