Am I the only one who is leary about posting their child's pic on the internet? I mean, we all just about have digital photos of our kids that we email to family and friends but does anyone else out there feel it is unsafe to post photos of their kids online, even on secured sites? (which are not actually secure, I mean, come on...)

No,. you sure arent! I think its not such a good idea either. But then again, i dont think having a sticker on the back of your van with your kids name and where they go to school or what sports team they are on isnt a good idea either. I mean talk about opportunity knocking!
well nothing is completely secure thanks to hackers who can even get into your computer some how. I take pictures of my son every day pretty much because just am a photo happy mama, but to, all my family is pretty much all out of state...So I do have a couple of places that I share my photos on the web. I am with my son 24/7 but am not too preoccupied with someone coming and finding us etc for bad reasons. Its just one of those things in life that you deal with whatever comes because it is what it is.
I was raised to be paranoid, so NO - I do not put my kids pics on the internet. Rarely will I even send them via email to their grandparents. I don't carry pics of them in my wallet or purse either because if I lost either, then the crooks would have my address, bank info, pics of my kids, so on. Better safe than sorry is what I say.
