My name is Stacy. I am 23 years old. I have a wonderful little boy who is 2 (I will talk more about him in a minute). Currently I am pregnant, due in about 7 weeks (sept 22). I am married to a wonderful man.
Blake is a very outgoing 2 year old. Of course I think he is the smartest little boy in the entire world. He is also the most strong-willed (which bless his heart he gets honest from me). We are in the process of potty-training. He does really good at peeing in the potty but he doesn't have the patience to sit long enough for the rest. I have tried singing, reading you name it, i've tried it. He isn't afraid of anything. He is a daredevil ( he rode is trycicle down the deck steps, fell, hit his head, AND STILL WANTED TO DO IT AGAIN!!)
Blake has never really like to sleep. At 2 he still doesn't sleep all night. However, he has gotten better since he has been moved into his "big boy" bed. He wakes up once, gets in our bed and sleeps until about 8 the next morning. Naps are not a favorite of his either, but they are a must for ME.
Right now I am feeling very anxious about becoming a mommy again. I keep wondering how in the world am I ever going to get both of them on any sort of schedule. Since Blake has become a serious Momma's Boy how am I going to deal w/ his jealousy while I'm nursing the new baby or just taking care of her. My husband works all kinds of crazy hours now that I am mostly a stay at home mom so most of the time I feel like a single parent.
If any of you moms out there have words of encouragement, words of advice or just observations please let me know!!!!!
I will keep you posted about the new baby and any new "tricks" Blake picks up between now and later.![]()
