Need advice!

I have a three year old who means that world to my and her father and I want to be pregnant again. But, when I had her because of some health problems I unwillingly got my tubes tied lastminute. First I should say I was in labor with not pain meds and they asked what I was planning on doing for birth control and my mom who was sitting with me said she wants her tubes tied and  started yelling at me in labor saying I didn't need to risk bringing a baby into the world again who might have the health trouble to. So the only waay she would leave me alone and back off was for me to say fine do it though I reallly didnt want it. But mom was paying all my medical expences for  me during the pregnance and delivery. Now I want another child and dont have a lot of money to aford the expencive reversal and I dont know if my insurance medicaid would pay for it. So I need help does anyone have any ideas of sugustioons of how I can get pregnant with them tied which I know is possible and more common then people think.

NO SHE WASNT HAPPY AT FIRST - BUT SHE GOT A BOY SHE ALMOST DIDNT HAVE!  WHEN SHE WENT TO GET THEM RETIED--- THEY WERE STILL TIED--- I AM NOT MAKING THIS UP!! I CANT REMEMBER HOW THE EXPLAINED IT HAPPENED - BUT IT DID! HAVE FAITH & GOOD LUCK!

Feb. 1, 2007 at 1:18 PM well there is the possibility of invitro - where they go in and remove eggs from your ovaries and inject a sperm into the egg, and then once it is fertilized, they put it back inside the uterus. sometimes it doesn't work though, and it can be pricey, but if you really want a baby then it might be worth it! also you can even choose what you want the baby to be a girl or boy! let me know what you think!

Well, I feel the same way as Tnamari >Pray About it > Pray for it to happen > Pray for the money to reverse it . Also, I don't know what your beliefs are, but praying does work.. I am the same way I am not trying to push my beliefs on you. I just know from my experience it worked for me.  I had a hard time carring a child ...I lost my first child. I was 2 months long it scared me. So I waited two years before I tried to have my daughter. I just prayed that she would be healty, and I could carry her full term. She was 2 weeks early, but she was healty. God can do miracles. If it is gods will it shall be done. My mom has a friend who had her tubes tied, and she started having morning sickness. So she decided to go to the doctor he thought she had a tumor. Then come to find out she was pregnant with her third child which would be 15 yrs younger than her youngest at the time she found out. One of  my friend's aunts had her tubes tied and 5 yrs later she had a baby. So it is possible.
If I was you and I really wanted another child I would get a group to pray about it. They say praying in groups really helps to make it happen quicker. Not sure about your beliefs though. This is just a suggestion that I would do if it was me.

Well I am so sorry about all of this!  I can't believe they still tied your tubes with your mother yelling at you.  Regardless of the fact that she was paying for everything, it was and still is your body!  Just keep praying like the other women suggested, and I'm sure there is a woman out there who would be glad to be a surrogate mother.  Good luck!
