Tonight I fight the fight of exhaustion, the fight of fear, and the fight of hope.  I will volunteer my body, mind, and soul to an all night walk in hopes of raising lots and lots of money for cancer research.  It is a once a year thing here in Phelps County Missouri and we always have a blast.  It is hard to do but it is very rewarding.  The all night walk represents the life struggle of a cancer survivor/fighter.  The beginning of the walk is easy as the struggle is just with the knowledge of what lies ahead.  As the body grows tired and the mind grows weary it represents the fight that the cancer survivor/fighter must go through every day.  As dawn nears the hope brightens that you just might get through this.  This represents the fight to the finish.  Americans have been affected by cancer more and more each year.  This is a simple way that those of us affected by a family member or friend having fought the greatest battle can join in the fight.  I walk for my friends that have fought the battle to fight another day, my friends that have lost their battle, and my families family that are fighting and have lost their battle.  Please keep us in your prayers and may be raise enough money to progress towards a cure for all that attempts to destroy our bodies.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~MAY WE FIND THE CURE~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
I ask that if you see a sign for the American Cancer Society that you drop your change into their bucket....They are doing good works and good works will prevail.....Thank you to all who care!
