More Positive - Less Negative

Well, someone told me I was a very negative person and my posts stressed her out, so I thought about it, and realized she was right.  Most of the time my journal posts are about the hardships I am facing, so I decided to make a healthy balance.  I will be less negative and more positive.  I will do my best to write about the good things more than my troubles.

God has blessed my life in an amazing way, and I have failed to share and spread that as I should - as a dear sister pointed out to me - Even though I have been through a lot, God has brought me through it all and I know he is near me - watching over me and my family.  Starting now, the majority of my posts will focus on the positive things in my life.  God knows I have so many blessings and so many things to tell you about.

Let me start by saying.  I am a child of God! That is such a wonderful feeling.  It is probably the greatest feeling in the world.  God sent his son to die for a sinner like me and I accepted his beautiful gift, and it has been an amazing journey so far.  Romans 8:28 holds true in my life.  We know that God causes all things to work together for good to those who love Him, to those who are called according to his purpose.

My church is amazing.  I have an amazing Christian family who loves me and cares for me and my family.  I am active in several ministeries within my church and this gives me so much joy.  I am even a Stephen Minister, which is a person who cares for other who are hurting.  I can help others because I have been through so much in my life.

I have five beautiful, amazing children and the greatest, most Godly husband in the Universe.  To this I owe God all the glory.

My husband has a good job, and even though things are tight, I am able to follow the call on my life to stay home with my children.

I love to encourage others and pray for them.  This is one of my gifts, and I love it!

My beautiful mother raised me in a Christian home and when she died she left an amazing legacy and one day I will see her again in heaven - This is worthy of praise!  Thank you Jesus for my Godly mother.

My brother went to be with Jesus a few months ago, and even though I miss him, I know he is praising God in heaven and I will see him again too.

My beautiful daughter Alyssa, walked away from a car accident last week without a scratch and has managed to put in a 35 hour work week this week.  She will be in the 11th Grade next year and is taking all honer classes and even a college course.  She is amazing.

Matthew is under Gods care and even though he has strayed away, God is with him and I am thankful for how God is working in his life and the peace God gives me about this.

Kelsey is amazing too.  She is a little boy crazy right now, but she is my gym partner and we have fun getting in shape together - Another blessing God provided for us.

Isaac and Abby both have been given to me late in life and it is so wonderful to be able to start over and have little ones in my 40's.  They are such a joy.  Praise God for them.

I could go on and on... but I don't want to make this too long.

God is amazing.

Love,

Connie
