It went well. Thankfully the weather was nice and we were able to usher the kids outside to the back yard to play through most of it. The girls got a lot of new clothes and pajamas, which they needed.
Leigh Ann got 4 dolls, a couple of puzzles to help with her shape recognition, a Magnadoodle, a "Ball popper" machine, a TY Pink Poodle beany baby, a couple of books, socks, and big girl panties to start potty training.
Rhiahannaen got 3 dolls, a Pooh Bear "Glow worm" type of thing, Sorting blocks, a gear turner kinda thingy, a TY Unicorn beany baby, a little "Ball popper" toy, a couple of books, and socks.
We also got a gift certificate to Build-a-Bear for the girls. Rhiahannaen already had a build-a-bear from her Aunt Jessie at Christmas, so we bought it a new outfit (since Jessie got a Santa outfit for it). Leigh Ann picked out a white teddy bear that has pink highlights in it's fur and we got a Faerie type of outfit for it.
That's everything that I can remember off of the top of my head at least.
Rhiahannaen had a blast with her smash cake. When I get the pictures developed I can't wait to post them. She had icing covering her face. So much so that her face nearly turned hot pink.
Leigh Ann didn't enjoy the cake nearly as much though. I think because there were so many people crowded into the kitchen at the time trying to get pictures.
My Aunt and my mother's best friend from Chicago kept calling Leigh Ann, "Little Miss Tokarz" because they say she looks just like I did at that age and she has the Tokarz family build. (Tokarz being my mother's madien name) Lucky for her, though, her hair is naturally curly. My mother made me sleep in curlers to make mine do what her hair does naturally. *LOL*
Not everyone we invited came, but that's sort of a blessing because the house was packed.
Like I said, I'll post pictures as soon as I'm able to get them developed. I have 4 disposable camera's full! (No, I'm not a lil camera happy ^_~)
