i finally heard that sweet sound!

finally at the 14 week check-up i heard the baby's heart beating. it was such a happy sound. the heart was beating at 150 beats/min. and with my son he was always around 130's-140's. does anyone believe in the theory that girls have a faster rhythm than boys? i know it's not more accurate than guessing, but i want a girl lol!

Aug. 16, 2007 at 6:14 PM hey, thats great!! my first was at 14 weeks and the babys heartbeat wat 180, now at 17 weeks its 150. The heartbeat is usually faster in the beginning and also if the baby is awake. So good luck with having a girl!! I wish you the very best. Girls are  soooo precious!!
