Republicans and Democrats

I'm just so sick of people in both parties. Democrats whine to much and want complete acceptance to everyone. Conservatives act like they take the high road but act like a bunch of children at times. Nobody wants to get together with the other party and come up with a solution that everyone can live with. It's "my way or the high way." Well in a perfect world that might work, guess what? This isn't a perfect world. It never has been, probably never will be. Because no one can act like freaking adults around here. That is what we all are right? Adults? I understand that politics is a hot topic for most people but give me a break everyone. I've been a member of both groups here on cafemom. I'm also a member of the Libertarian group. The difference is honestly amazing. The Democrats rarely talk about anything important unless its how to impeach Bush or make him and his administration look bad. The Republicans no matter what the subject is can't call anyone by their correct name but have to make fun of them. They have to resort to name calling and complaining about "all the whiny democrats" Gee everyones maturity is really comforting considering the state of our country. The Libertarian group is nice, but I dont agree with half of what their candidate stands for. But lets me real. Immigration, freedom of religion, abortion, war on terror, etc etc etc. Lets come up with some solutions to the problem that don't include pointing the finger at the other Party.

Aug. 16, 2007 at 4:09 PM You know a lot of Republicans think so. Of course it might be because they're afraid to look at what's wrong with themselves and in their own party. Neither party is perfect. I for one don't expect them to be. I do expect for them to make intelligent, moral decisions. Something we haven't had in the past 16 yrs.

Sep. 25, 2007 at 10:36 PM Compromise would be great because I don't totally agree with any of the parties totally. It would be nice if we could all come up with solutions we all can live with, but I guess it is true that it's really hard to do sense some want to take from the top and others want to do it in a way that doesn't take more from any one group. Maybe one day we all can come together. Until then we have to pick which ever two seem better at the time.
