Addison's first day of Kindergarten!

Today Addison attended her first half day of kindergarten! I am so proud of her! She will be five next week so she will also get to share a birthday treat with her new class! Starting next week she will be in school full day with early dismissal on Wednesdays. I decided to let her order hot lunch for the first week, being that most kids with lunchboxes have to go sit on their own until the other kids get through the hot lunch line. I don't want her sitting by herself and not making any friends when she could be in line with the others getting to know them and such. I know it sounds silly, but she is a tad shy but once she opens up she doesn't stop! So hopefully next week goes as great as her first half day did! She was such a good girl when I had to leave her in her class. We gave eachother a kiss, hug, high five and away we went! Congrats Addison on your new journey through school!

Aug. 17, 2007 at 3:03 PM Awww, how special!  They grow up so fast, dont they?  Jacob is starting kindergarten on the 28th and I can hardly believe it.  It seems like just yesterday they were our little babies :)
