Applauses are not necessary but a pat on my back from me was. Just wanted to fill you all in on why I have been a cafemom and Myspace slacker. :)
I have survied the last month of visits from 3 cousins visiting from Califas (LA, and VaN Nuys to be exact), a Crazy ass Tia (69 years old) whom I love with all my heart and can drink everyone she meets under the table who came to visit from San Fransisco and boy did she want to party!!! As well as My little sister from Minnesota. The bridge colapse was a nightmare for us. We thought she was on it. Until she called the next day after not awnsering any phonecalls. She just left my house Sunday after being at home with us for a week, talks of her moving in with me are still lingering in the air. Am I scared? Am I happy? Still don't know... Is that wrong of me?
My mother took the boys to Door County for a week, and Milo fell off of a little motorized bike/4wheeler. YIKES!!! He was rushed to the emergency room no broken bones but he was in a cast until his followup this past Friday. More x-rays, more trying to pop back his elbow in place. ( He still can't bend his arm a certain way) We left the doctors office calm but concerned we would have to return to try and pop his elbow back into place. Saturday a nervouse call from the pediatrician awakes us saying that the orthopedic surgeon thinks there is a fracture. My stomach was a roller coaster ready to escape my mouth. My hubby didn't go to work today, but good news is it's not a fracture the Orthopedic surgeon says just to let it heal. I called the pediatrician again, to see what now?? Is his elbow still out of place? He still can't bend his arm that certain way. . . hmmm.
A new addition to our family that Rudy has been waiting and begging for forever now; a 6 week old puppy which happens to be a pittbull. She is adorable but why didn't we remember how hard potty training was from our past training of Duke and Shorty G (our Golden Retriever)? . Why now?? I have been googleing <---- Is that a word??? Everything on her breed. Please don't write me about why pittbulls are horrible dogs. I don't want to explain our decision. Our 13 year old rottweiler Duke passed away a couple of months ago and it was hard, I remember all the nasty comments on when we got him while I was growing up. I would have rather went with another Rott. I love them.
Soooo Just wanted to fill you all in. Hope you are all doing well. Let me know what you guys have been up to.
