WE all face burdens from time to time. Some we cause on ourselves, others are created by our actions and yet others are just trials that come to make us stronger.

But how do you cope with your burdens? Do you mope, cry, and have a pity party until they pass? Or do you let go and let God? or do you go so deep into depression that you forget you have a life to live and this too shall pass?

Sometimes when we're in the midst of a mess we get stuck on stupid. We make one burden appear to be so big that we forget that we've been here and got pass something simliar or even worse.

Why do we get so caught up in being burdened? Why does it take us so long to bounce back from certain burdens while others seem to go as fast as they came?

What's your secret to overcoming your biggest, heaviest burdens? What burdens have you seen others deal with that you feel aren't really burdens? Which of your burdens do you compare to those of others feeling that theirs couldn't possibly compare?

I lost my son to suicide on May 19, 2006.  All I can do is take one day at a time.  The pain is devastating.  Grief is so hard to bear.  We should not have to bury our children.
