Oh my goodness! I almost wanted to find this child and tell him that he had better quit it or else he would be in big trouble with me! Sheesh!
This is the second week of school and my daughter told me today that a boy on the bus has been really mean to her and another girl. I asked her what happened and she told me that this kid keeps sitting by her, squishing her in the bus, and saying rude things to her, elbowing her and being a bully. I felt so angry and was thinking about finding this kid and giving him a piece of my mind..but I tried to relax and I called her school and talked to the transportation dept. and her teacher. They both told me they would resolve the issue.
Tomorrow I am going to speak to the bus driver to tell her she needs to have the kindergartners ride in the front of the bus, so that these things don't happen. It's really annoying that kids like him ride the bus and are rude to smaller defenseless kindergartners. I really want to find his parents and tell them they need to teach him what kindness is, maybe they are just rude people too, or his siblings are bullying him, maybe I am being judgemental but I think if the kids act out with such rudeness, the parents have something to do with the way he behaves. It's really aggravating me right now, thinking about how she must have felt when he was so mean to her, I am sure she was scared and that makes me feel helpless because I have to wait until tomorrow and anxious to talk to the bus driver, but I have to be patient and calm down. If these things don't get resolved soon, I think we will consider driving her there or homeschooling her.

How did it turn out? Did you ever get it resolved? Well I just noticed 2007 I am sure she does not even have the same driver by now. I had the same problem with my daughter when she was in 3rd grade by a 6th grade boy.
