Survivor

I am a survivor.

I will find the light in everything I do.

I will find peace in who I am.

I will continue to survive.

I have not always made the right choices,

But I will make better ones.

I have let people take advantage of my ignorace,

and I will educate myself accordingly.

I have been robbed of my innocence,

and I will try not take advantage of people.

I have been beat, lied to and raped,

and I will not become the monster of my dreams.

I will be a survivor and I will try harder.

I will do better, I will live better and I will be better.

I will because I can.

And I will because I need to.
