The Bible

This today I write is only to pass on to people hungry and that might be a little confused. I am not trying to offend anyone. The Bible is one of the most scrutinized books in history and present, thousands of men and woman have set out to prove or disprove the Bible…only it is not happening. There is solid proof that this book is true and Jesus came and died for our sins.

Here is a break down: The bible was written 3000 years ago, by 40 men over a span of 1500 years on 3 continents. These men were all witnesses to the Lord and were inspired by the spirit of God to relay what they had INDEED witnessed. One reason it is impossible to disprove is because there is proof that the 40 men wrote these words and that all the different books in the Bible from Genesis to Revelation, all the men wrote and agreed on faith and Jesus himself. From the first man in the first year to the last man on fifteen hundredth year, all wrote similar teachings about Jesus, faith and doctrin. The Bible is true and I want to pass this on to fellow Christians and ask that you too pass on the good news. We can trust the Bible more than, feelings, values, culture and opinions. The Bible is solid and will never change, this is our God revealing himself to us.

Revelation-reaveling to us
Revelation means that God has choosen to reveal His nature and His will to us through the Bible. The Bible was written so God could show us what He is like and what He wants us to be like. An understanding of God comes soley through His decision to reveal himeself to us. Ezekiel 38:23

Inspiration- Inspired
Inspiration is the process through which God gave us the Bible. God worked in the hearts of human writters to inspire them to write down His words. God's words written through these people are perfect, infallible and trustworthy. 2 Timothy 3:16

Illumination
Illumination is the Holy Spirit's work of bringing light to the words of the Bbile as we read them. Illumination is the means by which we understand the Bible. Luke 24:25

Inerrancy
The Bible, when correctly interpreted in light of the level to which culture and the means of communication had developed at the time it was written, and in veiw of the purposes for which it was given is fully truthful in all that it affirms.- Mallard Erickson- Christian theologist

For those of you that do not believe the Bible to be true, and are reading this…I challenge you to look up the facts, research, because again I say the bible is the only teaching to not be disproved. Look up the mormans, look up the koran and hinduisam teachings and you will find all those in lots of ways have been disproved.

All Christians, I also challenge you. Re claim the Bible. It has answers in there beyond our knowledge. We need to turn to the Bible before we turn to Dr Phil for self help or family help. Pray for the right scripture and you will come across it. It might happen in the first verse or the hundreth verse. God will show the way to any help you will ever need.

Since I am certain beyond every inch of my body that Jesus died for me and that God is revealing Himself through the Bible and that it is true. Then when the Bible also says God loves you no matter what, I truly believe that. I just need to give Thanks to every day I live, and every day Alan and I pay the bills, and Ethan and Lacie and the new baby we are expecting, and a close parking spot and a good hair day...the list goes on forever. I give Thanks for everything and ask for forgiveness for my sins, because I sin every day but Jesus Christ is my Savior, and only He can deliver me.
