New to Homeschool

I did not set out to be a home-school mom. I was home-schooled briefly, but didn't like it. Because my daughter was having some issues with certain children in school and had heard way too much personal detail about the pain and trauma in their lives, I decided that I didn't have much choice. I couldn't seem to get her distracted from the constant chaos and drama long enough to focus on academics. Therefore, I decided I would home-school this year in an attempt to catch her up academically. I guess we'll see how it goes. Wish me luck!
