Ronnie went to school today- starting 5th grade. I'm doing my happy dance around the computer room as we speak! It was a rough morning. Zachary decided to stay up late (to continue on with his "everytime mommy really wants to get sleep tradition) Ron set the alarm for me, for 8 am- which is when Ronnie needs to be out the door. Zach woke me up at 7:35, and I figured no problem, I'll just take him to school. Apparently while it's perfectly acceptable in 4th grade to beg for a ride everyday so you dont have to take the bus, it's 5th grade suicide. Silly me. So we rushed around and got him out of the house on time- that'll never happen again! lol I did have time for one- cheesy- pic!

Aug. 29, 2007 at 10:26 AM Alexis has already gone home for the school year. She starts tomorrow. I am excited to call her and see how her day went. Ronnie looks handsome for his first day of school. And what an artist little Zach is. I remember when Jacob colored his first pic. Well actually like you said tasted his first crayon. I have a pic of Jacobs first pic in my pics somewhere if you would like to check it out. Have a great day.

Aug. 29, 2007 at 10:52 AM My 11yo has had the "no driving me to school" rule since 2nd grade!!  No matter what, he doesn't want a ride to school.  But, of course it's the first day 2day and he missed the bus!  First day of middle school and his momma had to drive him!! LOL!

Aug. 29, 2007 at 12:05 PM Awe!!!  That's sooo cool. I hope he had a good 1st day at school.  Did he get lots of homework??  hahaha   I'm sooo not looking forward to when Naomi starts school.  I can't stand the thought of her going off and not being taken care of. :(  I'm so afraid that someone will try to steal her or something worse.  There is hardly supervision at schools, that's why there is so much violance.  Blah.  I keep thinking more and more about home schooling her.
