With school starting and camp ending we wanted to get a last couple family day trips in. We decided to go to a small zoo. The Baltimore Zoo in Maryland. While enjoying the playfulness of the female polar bear swimming in her pond a familar voice was heard. I thought wow that woman sounds like Rosie O'Donnel {excuse me if i spell her name wrong} so i looked over and she even looked like Rosie. Then i heard her introduce herself to an employee of the zoo and i new it was her! when we were watching the male polar bear taking a dip in his pool the staff and Rosie and her son were feeding him chunks of something and also gave my oldest son something to toss to the bear which thrilled my son. we did take a couple pictures but i will leave out the ones with her son.

we opted not to talk to her because she was there with her son and also she was talking with the zoo personal and i have major problems with the poparatzy {sp} when they intrude and get in people's faces - picture taking is one thing with out being obnoxious. My oldest son was speaking with her and the zoo people when they let him throw the polar bears some food. i didn't invade her personal space therefore i can't get sued! lol.

Celebrity sightings are always cool! And I give you credit for not posting pics of her kids. I know it would upset me to see some stranger post a pic of one of my munchkins. Glad you had a nice day out at the zoo with the kids!

Even though I live in Baltimore, I haven't been to our zoo in a few years. I must get there again. I love it!!!!!
