Last one out of the nest

My five yearold will start kindergarden tomorrow- I have 2 in high school and one going to kindergarden. She is excited.  It makes me kinda sad. When they are little, you just want to hold on to them forever. My two teens are pretty much independant. They look at me like I am an alien from another planet. I miss the days where they would come to me for hugs and kisses. Now they just come to me for money or a ride to their friends house.LOL. The irony of it all!!! My five year old still loves mommy.off to school!!

Sep. 3, 2007 at 12:23 PM My youngest just started kindergarten a week and a half ago too! My last one. I was not sad though. I was so happy! I have waited a long time for some me time! I am enjoying it greatly!!!!!!! It is sad for alot of mom's when your baby goes to school. I am just not one of them, lol.

Sep. 3, 2007 at 4:08 PM I dealt with these feeling last year and a bit this year. Last year my baby did half day kindergarten and this year is full day, so it was an easier transition. It's hard to watch the babies grow up. I get sad when I look at pictures and they're all so grown. It helps if they enjoy going... good luck!
